The Ryzen 5 8600G is a capable CPU with modest graphics capabilities — perfect if you’re looking to reduce upfront costs but want a system that is ready to accept a powerful dedicated GPU later.

This computer has modest graphics capabilities meant to open the door to gaming and offer an easy path to a solid mid-range computer later.
The power supply in this build is purposefully overspec to handle a dedicated GPU when the time comes.
The RAM speeds are lower than often recommended for the iGPU due to the ever-increasing RAM prices. For the best performance possible out of the iGPU, consider RAM with tight timings (CL36 or less) and higher clock speeds (6400mHz). As timings seem to make the largest difference on performance, we’ve opt’d for moderately tighter timings on the ram but a relaxed clock speed to control the price.
